The hostage AI also received some noteworthy improvements. Hostages will now stick very closely to their rescuers, so players won’t have to waste valuable time waiting for them to get closer.
This update reworks Populist Factions as well. Vassals that are directly affected by a Populist Revolt will now get a demand letter. They can also choose how to respond to the revolt leader's demand.
Over 100 unique new experiences have been added that allow players to see how the people they're closest to in the game will react based on certain events.
Gamepad players can visit the Skills & Modifiers screen to show or hide skill tooltips. The death screen in multiplayer won’t show incorrect controller prompts anymore.
The new Cookery has been added as well. This is where players can prepare and cook their meals, including the Rotten Meat Slurry, which can be used for taming Gnats.
Miss Fortune’s Double Up ability will now deal extra base damage from Rank Two onwards. Grave’s ultimate will deal more base damage across all ranks, which should be enough to threaten the enemy team when he reaches Level 6.
The British 1st Armoured Division boasts impressive tanks, while the French 5e Division Blindée is more balanced, thanks to the versatility of its units.
Players can now tweak several elements of UI Display settings, including HUD Size, Buff Icon Size, and more. A new tab named Combat Related Settings has been added under Gameplay.
