Given the success of Apex Legends, a new season is almost a certainty. The battle royale game is currently in Season 14, and it’s not showing any signs of slowing down.

The Leak

Tom Henderson claimed today that the upcoming season 15 will be called “Eclipse,” coming this November 1. No other information was provided; he didn’t mention if we will get a new map or the name of upcoming legends. Only the season’s name and release date were revealed.

The alleged release date does make sense though. An average season of Apex Legends usually lasts for three months. Season 14 was released on August 9, meaning a new season should arrive in November.

If Respawn follows history, more details about Season 15 should come out during the last few weeks of October.

A Grain of Salt

Even though Henderson is a trusted figure in the gaming industry and has been correct in the past more times than I could count, I still suggest you take the claim with a grain of salt.

The leak being accurate still doesn’t mean anything. The developer can change the name, and the release date is also not set in stone, as any development issue can cause a delay.

About the Game

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale game set in the Titanfall universe. The game was released in early 2019 and became an instant success. It is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Origin).

Apex Legends Mobile, the separate mobile version, was released on Android and iOS a few months ago. This version received new legends not available in the main game. So feel free to check it out as well.

In other news, Respawn Entertainment, the developer of Apex Legends, is currently working on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The sequel to the 2019 SW game will arrive next year.
