The Lake Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey
The Lake Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey NINTENDO/PLAYER.ONE

The Cascade Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey is the first world you can actually explore and there are quite a few Power Moons to find. You’ll need a certain number in this Kingdom to power up your ship and progress the story but most of them will be obtained after you’ve completed the main story.

Most of the Power Moons are obtained by solving puzzles, completing tasks for others and much more and there’s a lot to go over. You can also use Uncle amiibo to use your amiibo figures to find Power Moon locations for you but for those who don’t have that luxury we’ve got you covered.

Since there are so many Power Moons in Super Mario Odyssey, we’re breaking down each Kingdom in separate stories.

To find the Power Moon locations for the other levels in Super Mario Odyssey, check out our other Kingdom Guides:

Some locations won’t be accessible until after the main story is complete and after you resolve that Kingdom’s problem when you return after completing the game, so there may be some minor spoilers so be aware.

REVIEW SUMMARY
Super Mario Odyssey
10.0
Charming, Fun And The Best Game Of 2017
The Nintendo Switch title has slick controls, amazing visuals and a charm (there’s that word again) that I haven't come across before. The story is simple but supplemented with a large cast of new characters and worlds that expand the Mario Universe in a way that, hopefully, Nintendo can expand on for years to come. It’s accessible for younger players and challenging enough for veterans.
  • Visually pleasing
  • Great Story
  • Controls are amazing and uses Switch motion controls the best
  • Great new characters and environments
  • Could be more difficult
  • Camera angles can get annoying
