Power Moons in Super Mario Odyssey are the new Stars, which means players need to collect as many as possible! Each Kingdom has a minimum number to collect in order to advance to the next Kingdom, but there are many more hidden through each level.

The Luncheon Kingdom requires players to find 18 Power Moons to advance. However, if players want to see everything the level has to offer, then they’ll need to be on the lookout for all 68 Power Moons. Many of these can only be found after completing the main story, so it’s best to come back once everything is wrapped up.

Minor spoilers below, so read at your own risk:

Power Moon Location #1 - The Broodals Are After Some Cookin’

Defeat Spewart in the boss battle by throwing Cappy to clear out the poison goop he shoots at you. Throw Cappy at Spewart when he’s close to stun him, then jump on him to deal damage.

Power Moon Location #2 - Under The Cheese Rocks

REVIEW SUMMARY
Super Mario Odyssey
10.0
Charming, Fun And The Best Game Of 2017
The Nintendo Switch title has slick controls, amazing visuals and a charm (there’s that word again) that I haven't come across before. The story is simple but supplemented with a large cast of new characters and worlds that expand the Mario Universe in a way that, hopefully, Nintendo can expand on for years to come. It’s accessible for younger players and challenging enough for veterans.
  • Visually pleasing
  • Great Story
  • Controls are amazing and uses Switch motion controls the best
  • Great new characters and environments
  • Could be more difficult
  • Camera angles can get annoying
