Sony is giving players a way to fully immerse themselves when playing "Ghost of Yotei" as a new batch of exclusive PlayStation 5 console bundles have been unveiled as the world anticipates the game's release.
The new console bundles feature two options of the device for gamers to choose from, including the PlayStation 5 Slim and the PlayStation 5 Pro.
While there are tons of customization options available for the PlayStation 5 thanks to its removable console covers, this exclusive collaboration with Sucker Punch offers a unique seal included in the bundle.
Sony Unveils 'Ghost of Yotei' Exclusive PS5 Bundles
A new blog post from Sony Interactive Entertainment reveals the latest collaboration between the company and Sucker Punch Productions which brings forth "Ghost of Yotei's" exclusive PS5 bundles.
Following the latest State of Play event that featured a deep dive into the "Ghost of Yotei," the company also revealed that it is getting a special console and controller featuring its art.
The bundle would bring a PS5 console and a DualSense controller featuring an artwork based on the game's designs. The bundle offers fans a chance to get an exclusive and limited-edition console which features Mt. Yotei, the mountain in Japan's Hokkaido region where the game is based on.
The console bundles also feature a digital full game voucher of the "Ghost of Yotei," and according to Sony, the limited-edition bundles would be shipped on October 2, 2025, the same date as the title's release.
Is the 'Ghost of Yotei' Art Available on Console Covers?
If the bundle is too much of a purchase for users, especially if they already have an existing PS5 console, they may alternatively purchase the Gold Limited Edition console covers for the PlayStation 5 Pro and the PlayStation 5 Slim.
As for the DualSense controller, both the black and gold variants will be available for purchase.
Choose Your Console for This 'Ghost of Yotei' Collab
Gamers may choose between two versions of the "Ghost of Yotei" collaboration as it is available in either the Gold design or the Black limited edition colorway.
The Gold Limited Edition bundle features the use of the gold colorway to illustrate Mount Yotei and other elements present in the design, which matches with a DualSense controller featuring the same design elements. This version is available in both the PS5 Slim and the PS5 Pro and will be available directly from PlayStation and selected retailers.
On the other hand, the Black Limited Edition bundle offers the artwork and its design elements in black outlines, alongside its matching DualSense controller. While this version would also be available in the PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro depending on the user's choice, it could only be purchased via the PlayStation direct storefront.
Sony has yet to reveal the price of the console bundles and when its pre-order will start, but it will be released by October 2.
