Red Dead Online Weekly Update: Prepare to Go Hardcore and Earn Double Rewards

Feel the rush.
Feel the rush. Rockstar Games

This week, Red Dead Online is testing the skills of players as the Featured Series is none other than the hardcore mode for both Gun Rush and Gun Rush Teams. Players fight against each other without the benefit of Ability Cards or consumables. That means everyone has to rely only on weapons and aim.

Difficult as that may be, winners get an offer for 50% off a Hat up to Rank 15. The good news is that whether they win or lose, all players get 2X RDO$ and XP.

This week’s update offers a bonus for "A New Source of Employment." For those who may have forgotten, this one offers players three new missions, and each mission hands out rewards which are doubled this week. That’s not all since finishing any mission also gives out a free Treasure Map.

Players who have the Outlaw Pass No. 5 should be happy to know that this week they get a:

  • Reward for a free Role Outfit, Accessory, or Emote
  • 5 Fast Travel Vouchers
  • 2,000 Character XP to boot

What else is offered this week? Simply play the game anytime this week to receive 3,000 Club XP and two Miracle Tonics. Those who need to pick up shop should be happy to know that all Camp setup fees are being waived.
