The first season of New World is now available. The Fellowship & Fire season introduces new narratives, features, and gameplay experiences. There's also a Season Pass offering two reward tracks.
In Fellowship & Fire, players need to assemble an elite mercenary group known as the Silver Crows and fight the constantly rising threats on the island of Aeternum. This season sees the Silver Crows being hired by their first client, Skye the Spear-daughter. They've been asked to track down and stop the ambitions of a powerful warlock and the Varangian horde.
Season Pass
The Season Pass offers players different ways to earn new titles and gear, including:
- 5 Seasonal Armor Skin pieces
- 1 Seasonal Armor Set (5 pieces)
- 9 Seasonal Weapon Skins
- 6 Seasonal Tool Skins
- 1 Seasonal Emote
- 1 Camp skin
The free track is available to everyone while the premium reward track requires an additional purchase but comes with extra rewards. One feature of the Season Pass is the Activity Card where players earn season XP through mini-objectives. Large chunks of season XP can be earned through Journey Tasks and Challenges and Activity Card stamps. There are also smaller amounts of season XP from:
- Gypsum Cast crafting
- Expedition Boss kills
- Outpost Rush
- PvP Arenas
- War
- Invasions
- PvP kills
- Corruption Breaches
- Quests
- Faction Missions
- Aptitude Levels
- Trials
- Earning level XP
