With Season 6 coming to a close, Fortnite’s next season will most likely be centered around an alien invasion theme. That is thanks to the recent UFO sightings and alien abductions.
People who have played the game just recently will find themselves getting abducted by an extraterrestrial species. Although nothing is confirmed yet at the time of writing, it is safe to assume that we are going to be at war with the aliens in the game’s seventh season.
When Will the Season Start?
There is no official date yet when Season 7 will start but if there is anything to go by, the Season 6 battle pass will officially end on June 8. This means that players will only have less than a week to settle their affairs with the current season.
For those who are interested in buying the next season’s battle pass, you could spend around 950 V-Bucks or roughly $8 worth of real money.
If you are currently subscribed to Fortnite Crew, you will not only unlock the Season 7 battle pass by default but also get exclusive cosmetics and skins, 1,000 V-Bucks, and other perks from the Battle Pass. Those who want to subscribe will only have to pay $12 a month.
What Can You Expect from the Battle Pass?
It is interesting to know that Epic Games didn’t release any official statement regarding the next season’s battle pass. But since the Fortnite community is so active, you can expect some huge speculations and leaks.
User @HYPEX tweeted that there is some new information about the upcoming season. In the tweet, they said that it only takes two seconds for the aliens to abduct players and only three seconds for abductees to be warned or selected.
The aliens are also likely to spawn every 15 seconds after every storm and their chances of spawning are 10%, 20%, 40%, 80%, and 100% (in zones order).

In another tweet, the user showcased a new teaser video for the next season and it simply states “They’re Coming” followed by "06.08.2021." It is worth noting that the clip was not released by the developers themselves and, therefore, should be taken with a grain of salt.
