The Division 2 may have just released Title Update 10, but it appears that Ubisoft can’t wait to introduce new bug fixes along with balance adjustments. In its latest State of the Game, it looks like Title Update 10.1 for The Division 2 is set to be released later this month. One reason could be that many of the upcoming changes are seen as a direct response to the feedback given for Title Update 10.
One change is going to focus on loot. When TU10 was released, item power was decided between a minimum for each difficulty and a full god roll. However, this has resulted in the items being mainly centered toward the minimum instead of being skewed on it. To fix this, TU10.1 is going to increase the minimum item power, especially for higher difficulties. This means there’s going to be a slight bump for Challenging with even bigger bumps for Heroic as well as Legendary.
The developers are also looking into possible changes to the system when it comes to Skill Cooldowns. Hopefully the change will result in the system not being as punishing when using Skills with long cooldowns. One of the priorities being looked into is to find a way for players to get back the ability to switch loadouts while a Skill is still on cooldown.
Global Event
There are also a lot of things happening in The Division 2 and one of these is the return of Global Events. The next Global Event is known as Strike and starts on July 13. Features include:
- Strike Modifier:
- Always active.
- Enemies explode after a delay when killed.
- Pre-emptive Strike Modifier:
- Strike behavior plus sustained incoming damage triggers a small explosion on Agents.
- Tactical Strike Modifier:
- Pre-emptive Strike behavior.
- Enemies are marked using Strike explosions.
- When killed, they damage remaining enemies.
- Ally-to-ally explosion damage is increased.
