The Crew 2’s Latest Update Goes Live Today

The latest free update of The Crew 2 is now live. Titled "The Agency," this is Episode 1 of Season 2. Like any new season, it offers new vehicles and a new game mode. It also has the latest Motorpass installment. Today, we take a closer look at what players can expect.

New Stunt Game Mode

Let’s start with the new Stunt Game Mode where players take on the role of someone who is part of a secret international spy organization. That’s what The Agency is all about.

This new PvE game mode needs players to reach designated locations before the timer runs out. It’s not going to be that easy since they have to put on a show. To win, players must get a high enough score and there are two ways to get points. One is to smash crates and two is to perform stunts like, among others, wheelies, drifting, jumps, and near misses. Just remember that finishing quickly gives no bonus points.

Those who think they need some help can take on the challenge in a Crew. However, the points objective increases based on the size of the Crew. It’s worth noting that some stunts are exclusive to a Crew.

Five new PvE stunts events are already available, while new events are then launched every two weeks. For now, players can enjoy these:

To access these events, players simply need to go to the dedicated tab in the Activities menu, game map, or directly in the SR and MX categories.

New Vehicles

For this new update, players have the chance to get new vehicles like the Porsche 911 Speedster (2019) and Jaguar E-TYPE Series 1 Coupé (1961).

These two are available at the Shop and can be purchased either by Bucks or Crew Credits. More vehicles and vanity items will drop in the coming weeks and months.

New Motorpass

With the update now live, players can now access the Season 2 Episode 1 Motorpass. There is one big change with this one, which is Performance Part sets now offered as free rewards.

For those new to the game, the Motorpass is an optional multi-tiered reward system where players can progress by finishing Daily and Seasonal Challenges. A total of 50 tiers are offered through Free and Premium Rewards.
