One of the biggest selling points of PlayStation is its exclusives. The year isn’t even over yet and Sony has already released two major hits.

Horizon Forbidden West was released in February and it was received well by both fans and critics. Another game, Gran Turismo 7, was released the following month and it also garnered a positive reception. Good for PlayStation users that Sony still has some cards up its sleeve.

God of War Ragnarök

God of War Ragnarök is the one game that everyone cares about. Developer Santa Monica Studio hasn’t revealed the actual release date. However, we do know that it will launch this year. The second chapter in the Norse Saga will also be the last one, which completes the story started by God of War (2018).

The game will launch on both PS4 and PS5, while a PC port hasn’t been announced. But who knows, maybe after a couple of years.

Forspoken is the latest Square Enix game to have an exclusivity deal with Sony. The game will be PlayStation 5 console-exclusive, so it is coming to PS5 and PC. Xbox players will have to wait for two years when the exclusivity period ends.

Forspoken is an action role-playing game. The game will put you in the shoes of Frey Holland, a young woman from New York who has been transported to the fantasy world of Athia. Thanks to a recent delay, the title will now arrive on October 11.

Stray is a third-person adventure game where you play as a cat. The world in the game has been populated by robots and machines. It is developed using Unreal Engine 4 and slated for release on PS4, PS5, and PC. An Xbox port hasn’t been mentioned.

Stray will be released sometime in 2022, but the specific release date hasn’t been revealed yet.

These titles might not be the only PS games coming this year. Recent rumors suggested some major games launching later this year.
