Mario Kart Tour released its newest limited-time event with the Holiday Tour last week. In this one, players need to collect Grand Stars and see if they can manage to complete all cups. If you haven't tried it yet, don't worry. This event is good until January 1, 2020 at 1:59 AM EST.

So what can you expect with this limited-time event?

In The Spotlight

For starters you can Jingle all the way with Yoshi the Reindeer in the spotlight. Sharing the spotlight with Yoshi are Jingle Bells and the Gift Glider. Players also get a chance to earn Yoshi's special item, which is Yoshi's Egg. When you break it, you get a nice surprise including bonus items.

While the Holiday Tour is ongoing, Yoshi's favored course is the second course of every cup and this should help players smash some point records. In addition, Mario (Santa) is going to be in the Pipe until December 31 and those lucky enough should be able to see him.

Event Course

Offered with this new event is the course New York Minute 2, which is inspired by the Big Apple.

Hello There Koopa

For this limited-time event, the Tour gift is Koopa Troopa. For players who are subscribed to the Gold Pass, they get the chance to get Yellow Taxi as a tour gift.

Mario Kart Tour is a kart racing mobile game released back in September for both Google Play and the Apple App Store. This is a spin-off of the Mario Kart series and the 14th game of the franchise. Races center around Cups, with each one having three courses and a bonus challenge. In addition to the usual classic courses, the game offers courses inspired by real world cities.

Mario Kart Tour received 90.1 million downloads during the first week of release with total downloads reaching almost 124 million. The game has received mixed reviews, with may criticizing the gacha element. You can read our review of the game here.
