Square Enix Presents: Outriders Latest Trailer Reveals Key Features

The Square Enix Presents digital event was truly a treat to gamers. One of those showcased was Outriders, which released its trailer. The game is being developed by People Can Fly, the same studio responsible for games like Gears of War: Judgment and Bulletstorm.

Outriders is a co-op RPG shooter set in an original sci-fi universe. The game takes place in the world of Enoch. An anomaly has since transformed this once beautiful planet into a world where both flora and fauna evolved to destroy humanity.

Players are part of a team that’s suddenly facing a storm. Once the storm has abated, only the player is left alive. While they survived, they are now more than human and have gained access to anomalous energies.

The game has players choose between different classes:

Trickster
- This class is good for players who want a hit-and-run strategy. The Trickster’s ability to manipulate time and space is one that enemies are sure to fear.
Technomancer
- This class makes use of technology and combines it with Anomaly powers. This is good for those who want to deal damage at a distance.
Devastator
- The best way to describe this class is being a tank in human form. The ability of this class to control gravity allows for some really brutal attacks.
Pyromancer
- This class can attack from medium range and take down multiple enemies at once.

Outriders offer players more than 30 hours of gameplay as they travel across a hostile, wild planet. The game has released a free demo which had more than 2 million players sign-up in the first week. You can try out the demo here.
