Pokémon Go released a bunch of updates over the past couple of days that you may have missed. Don’t worry as today we give you the rundown on what these updates are. There’s something new on GO Battle League and some bonuses and gifts.

Beginning March 23 and until March 30 at 4:00 p.m. EDT, Trainers are going to be able to see different changes. The first is that Trainers get 3x Stardust and XP for their first Pokémon catch of the day. To maximize the rewards, be sure to activate a Star Piece and Lucky Egg.

There’s also going to be Changes to Gifts, which is sure to be good news to Trainers everywhere. The number of Gifts that players can open daily has been increased to 30 while the number of Gifts that can be carried in the inventory is now 20. In addition, Gifts now have more Poké Balls.

Another change arriving is the Rotating 1 PokéCoin bundles in the shop. Each week in the shop, there’s going to be new 1 PokéCoin bundles available for purchase. Currently a new bundle contains 100 Poké Balls.

Go Battle Leagues

For a limited time as well, there’s going to be changes arriving to Go Battle League and Trainer Battles. So what are these changes? There’s two:

The first is that walking and PokéCoin requirements to unlock battles in GO Battle League have been removed. For those currently in the middle of walking in order to earn a set, this new change takes effect with the next set. This change went into effect on March 20 and is planned to last until April 23.

For Trainer Battles, especially with friends, it was required that battle invites could only be sent to Ultra Friends and Best Friends. However, as of March 20 and until May 1, the Friendship level requirement has been lowered. This means players can now send battle invites to Trainers who are either Good Friends or Great Friends.

Raid Week

The Pokémon Go team announced that both the Lugia Raid Week and Raid Hour have been cancelled.
