PUBG: New State Pre-Registrations Breach 40-Million Mark

Another milestone.
Another milestone. Krafton

The anticipation for PUBG: New State continues to rise as it recently reached a new milestone. Pre-registrations for the game have reached at least 40 million on the App Store and Google Play. It helped that pre-registrations were made available in India.

Developer Krafton also dropped another news saying that the game’s official launch date will be announced this October.

PUBG: New State Executive Producer Minkyu Park revealed in a statement that the new milestone was made possible because of the excitement generated by fans. Park added that right now they are focusing on the feedback received during the game’s second Alpha Test. Hopefully, this should allow the game to be polished before the official launch, which is sometime later this year.

Alpha Test

It was back in July when the first Alpha Test was done, which was limited to the US. At the time, the focus was on determining the stability of the server and network. Also tested were the performance and in-development gameplay systems. The second Alpha Test was during the last week of August. This one continued the testing done in the first. But it was available to more regions including Asia, MENA, and Turkey.
