'Mobile Legends: Bang Bang' December 2025 Update: Here are the Best Fighter Heroes

It's hard to control your offlane pace, but these heroes can do that well.

The Meta in "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang" is always shifting, but some heroes have consistently stood out above all others because of their survivability, utility, and ability to make plays.

Current heroes getting their spotlight in the latest update include those in the EXP roles for laners. And among the top roles in setting up team compositions are heroes such as Lapu-Lapu, Fredrinn, and Badang, the pace-pickers of battles on a competitive level.

Lapu-Lapu: The Menace in the XP Lane

Position: EXP Lane

One of the most oppressive offlane laners in the current meta remains to be Lapu-Lapu. His sustain capability can rival that of Uranus and Cici, making it very hard to push him out of the lane. However, it is his burst damage capability, aside from crowd control, which takes this hero to new heights.

With the option to switch positions, players can safely poke, aggressively initiate, and disengage when necessary. His combo game is incredibly potent in team battles, deleting enemies in a split second if left alone.

With rotation-complimenting maps such as Dangerous Rivers, players can quickly join skirmishes with this hero because of his mobility, providing an immediate numbers game in favor of his team.

As of now, playing Lapu-Lapu in the EXP lane is totally safe and a priority pick.

Fredrinn: Return of the Utility Tank Jungler

Position: EXP Lane, Jungle

The return of Fredrinn signals a revival of tank junglers in MLBB. Although he is not dominating brutally anymore, he is definitely among the most dependable front-line junglers in the game. His effectiveness mainly resides in his capacity for taunting enemies, taking damage, and disrupting team battles for a considerable time.

One of Fredrinn's signature mechanics is his HP system in gray, which utilizes damage to potentially heal or buff damage output when activating Ultimate.

A good player can time Ultimate with Retribution to gain an objective and surprise enemies during important battles. With utility support such as Mathilda and Floryn, Fredrinn will be very hard to eliminate and not easily ignored either.

His presence will also affect draft trends, since laners will have the chance to draft damage assassins to counter the reduced burst damage of junglers.

Badang: A High-Impact Playmaker

Position: EXP Lane, Roam

Despite some recent nerfs, Badang remains a very successful pick in competitive matches. His strength is in his excellent crowd control abilities and isolation using Fist Break, which creates a wall behind enemies and leads to very damaging attacks.

Badang is better in a team roam role rather than a carry role. His performance will shine in a team battle where his lockdown skill can allow his teammates to lock in the kill.

His performance will be greatly reduced in a 1v1 battle and will be less effective when using Purify Battle Spells. Nonetheless, Badang is still an excellent pick in situational team compositions where 'engage' and 'pick-off' strategies are emphasized.
