Planet Zoo is ending the year with a bang as the game’s last major content update is finally here. Update 1.8 introduces the Europe Pack, which features new animals, foliage, rubbing pad bark, and scenery pieces, among many others.
Of course, there’s something for everyone as the latest update also provides new content for free. People can put up restaurants and shop counters to keep guests fed and happy.
Burrows are now available that the animals can use for shelter and also as a safe space for them to give birth. Lastly, animal memorials let you and your guests commemorate the beloved animals that have passed away.
Latest DLC
Planet Zoo’s Europe Pack is sold for $9.99 and it contains a lot of new things. Purchasing the DLC will guarantee you new animals, including the European Badger, Eurasian Lynx, and Alpine Ibex.
In addition, you can participate in a Timed Scenario where the objective is to bring in as many species as possible. Challenge, Sandbox, and Terrain-only variants are available as well.

- The colormorph system is now able to support more than one morph per species. This expanded system is still tied to the genetic system, with animals carrying and inheriting genes for possible morphs
- The leucistic Llama also makes its return as an additional colormorph for this species
- Added particle effects to the African Elephant's preening animations
- Added Aquatic biome suitability to the North American Beaver
- Adjusted the enrichment requirements of Prairie Dogs to make it easier to fulfill their welfare
