Final Fantasy XV’s upcoming story expansion, Episode Ignis, arrives on Dec. 13, and it looks like a whole lot of fun for die-hard Ignis fans. A new Episode Ignis Battle Command trailer showcases some of the abilities Ignis can do. If you weren’t already looking forward to the DLC, this trailer may change your mind — it’s certainly a “recipeh” for fun, with references to Ignis’s meme-tactic catchphrase from his special battle commands.

The minute-long trailer showcases the moves “Overclock,” “High Jump,” and “Quick Recipeh” that Ignis can use in battle, which also injects some much-needed silliness and fan service for players. “Overclock” finds Ignis beating enemies to a pulp with flaming fists and some smooth melee combat. “High Jump” is very much like the Final Fantasy Dragoon class move, where characters like Final Fantasy IX’s Freya jump into the air and rain pain down onto the enemies below with lances or similar arms. Finally, “Quick Recipeh” is a play on Ignis’s voice actor’s inflection when saying “recipe,” and it may be one of the cutest and silliest things in Final Fantasy XV.

From the video, you can see Ignis thinking of a new, tasty meal in a snap, which he prepares right on the battlefield. How does that work out for him when there are monsters and bosses around? Pretty well, apparently, and it makes for some giggle-worthy visuals. This is likely an addition is likely in response to some fans’ opinions that the DLC might not feature any cooking, Ignis’s specialty. It certainly lends a lighthearted and fun feel to the trailer, especially since it’s so absurd to just drop everything and bust out an entire cooking setup while in the middle of a heated fight. Only Ignis could make that look good.

Episode Ignis takes place during chapter 9 of Final Fantasy XV’s main campaign and follows Ignis Scientia as he journeys through the city of Altissia to get to Noctis. It’s scheduled for release next week, and it will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If you’re an Ignis fan, it’s worth seeing an episode dedicated to him, just as there were Episode Prompto and Episode Gladiolus previously.
