Heroes of the Storm: Latest Patch Applies Hero Balancing Changes and Fixes

Blizzard’s very own take on the MOBA genre, Heroes of the Storm, gets a new update. While it mainly consists of hero balancing changes and fixes, they are still notable.

E.T.C’s charm has always been about performing a dive and taking a hit, but these haven’t been enough for players to choose him regularly. That said, developers improved some of his abilities to make him more appealing.

His Stage Dive now costs 70 mana instead of 100, and its slow duration is increased by one second. The healing effect when Guitar Hero is active has been increased to 60%, based on the damage you deal with his basic attacks. This will make him a bit tankier on the battlefield.

While E.T.C is struggling, Brightwing seems a bit overpowered than what the devs have intended. That is why they’re reducing the Faerie Dragon’s HP and health regeneration. Furthermore, the healing amount of her Soothing Mist trait is reduced to 110, and its activation cooldown has been decreased to 75 seconds.

  • Debilitating Dart (Active)
    • Additional functionality: If no Heroes are hit, reduce its cooldown by 8 seconds

  • Sharpshooter (Q)
    • Additional functionality: Bonus healing increased by 35% while at maximum stacks
  • Concentrated Doses (Q)
    • Bonus healing increased to 12%
Level 20
  • Deadeye (R2)
    • Bonus damage and healing per Hero hit increased to 5%
