Join the Fight with Hearthstone Battle-Ready Decks

One of the difficulties in playing games like Hearthstone is that to get truly ahead, you have to know the majority of the cards. Even then, it won’t be enough as you also need to actually have the said cards.

But it seems Hearthstone may have listened to the sentiment with the release of Battle-Ready decks. These are complete decks from particular classes that players can add to their collection. As if to increase the excitement further, Hearthstone revealed that each deck has been made using data from hundreds of thousands of play sessions.

Sounds like a good deal right? There’s a catch, two of them actually. The first is that each deck is available for a limited time at $19.99. It’s a bit pricey but then again you get a complete deck. The second is that only one deck is allowed per account and in a way, this is what makes the promotion better. Meaning, the game is not entirely "pay to win."

Now while each deck has 30 cards, there are differences when it comes to types. These are:

  • Demon Hunter
    • Legendary: 3
    • Epic: 4
    • Rare: 8
  • Druid
    • Legendary: 2
    • Epic: 10

Talking about the Battle-Ready decks, the team at Hearthstone said that for now, they want to know what the community thinks about the release before an expansion can happen. If they decide to release more decks, these decks will come out at a later date after a new expansion is launched. That’s because they need some time for the meta to settle and then determine what decks to offer.

The new decks arrive with Patch 20.2 which introduces the Quilboar as a new minion type. Three heroes are introduced as well - Death Speaker Blackthorn, Vol’jin, and Xyrella. A new mechanic also arrives in the game called Blood Gems. Learn more about the new patch here.
