For those looking for a new FPS game, there’s some good news. Farlight 84 will roll out in 2021. Not only for the PC, but also for Android and iOS. Though, the game is not a pure FPS type due to some MOBA elements. Players can use a roster of exciting heroes that come with their own unique abilities and playstyles.

Farlight 84 takes place in a world where a zombie cyber-infection has turned everyone into what’s known as Zomborgs. The last survivors need to fight it on different playgrounds. They also have to hunt materials to survive. Players will fight other Zomborg survivors in 40-player battle royale matches.

The game allows players to set their individuality. They can personalize and upgrade their weapons and equipment. Players that win get to earn some post-match building materials. These materials make “refuges” where they can hang out with friends in between matches.

As mentioned, players get to select from a wide range of characters that come with unique skillsets and strategies. It is the core function on game launch. Then, weapons from the Big Four weapon manufacturers will come as a special surprise punch. For those curious, the manufacturers and weapons are:

  • Murphy Security
    • Product: Assault Rifle
  • Prism Technology
    • Product: Sniper Rifle
  • 9A Corporation
    • Product: Sniper Rifle
  • Wasteland Spirit
    • Product: Shotgun

In the game, players are blasted from a cannon to join matches. Next, they go around the battlefield using multi-legged vehicles, jetpacks, and bounding boards. With these machines, players must take into consideration the distinct energy system. This mechanic brings a layer of strategy to keep players on their toes.

There’s no question that Farlight 84 is sure to offer players an exciting mix of tactical and fast-paced gameplay with focus on quirky modes of transportation.

Farlight 84 is being developed by Lilith Games. It has been responsible for the likes of Soul Hunters, Rise of Kingdoms, and AFK Arena.
