There’s good news for fans of Fall Guys. The first is that the game is going free starting this June. As if that’s not enough, it’s also heading to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X/S.
Some of you are probably thinking that this is too good to be true, and there has to be some catch. There is, sort of. When June arrives, Fall Guys is “leaving” Steam and becomes available on the Epic Games Store. PC players who obtained the game on Steam can continue to play and even get the usual updates. New players, however, must get it from EGS.
However, with an Epic Games Account, players can experience cross-play, cross-platform parties, and even cross-progression.
It was back in August 2020 when the game was released and became available on PC and PlayStation 4. Since then, players have enjoyed six seasons of fun and stumbles.
Reset
With many players expected in June, Team Fall Guys revealed an upcoming brand-new season to properly welcome everyone. Like the usual season, there will be new levels, new costumes, and improvements in the gameplay.
However, if anything, the most exciting thing to look forward to is the new and improved Season Pass. Those interested in this supercharged version of the free progression path need to buy it using the new in-game currency known as Show-Bucks.
The Season Pass gives players the ability to earn new costumes and other unlockable items, with 100 levels to unlock at launch. By the way, for those who have the Legacy Pack, they get the first Season Pass for free.
