A port of the classic web game series Don't Escape Trilogy is now available for the PC through Steam. The game is priced at $4.99 and comes with a 10% discount during launch week. In addition, for those who already own Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive, they can purchase the Don’t Escape Trilogy for a 15% discount.

Producer Dora Breckinridge of Armor Games Studios said that when they released Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive early this year, they were touched not only by the outpouring of excitement and support, but also in the desire of many players to see the original series in order to complete their collection. Breckinridge added that they are “thrilled to be able to help make that happen, and to let a whole new audience experience Scriptwelder's iconic series."

The first Don't Escape game was released in 2013, leading up to the release of premium title Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive earlier this year. Each game in the anthology experiments with an inversion of the "escape the room" genre in different ways. Though there is no new content added, the games are preserved for the years to come on Steam, and players can enjoy Steam achievements as well.

In Don’t Escape Trilogy, players get to experience three standalone adventures. In the first, they need to find a way to secure themselves inside a remote cabin so that the town below doesn't suffer from their lycanthropic curse. In the second, players need to make defenses ready against an incoming zombie horde while worrying about the state of their bitten friend. Finally, in the third, a seemingly empty spaceship holds a dark secret when players awake in an airlock with no memories.

Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive, meanwhile, follows the bizarre cataclysmic event where the moon has been cracked in half and Earth is struggling with the environmental fallout. Players need to find a way to properly fortify their home against each night's new danger, as they learn the truth behind the apocalypse and search for a way to safety, if one exists. Given that each chapter of the game has multiple potential variations to encounter, players have to adjust their strategy on different playthroughs. Don’t take too long though, as certain actions advance the in-game clock, and you'll need to complete your preparations to stay alive before night falls.

Don't Escape Trilogy and Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive are developed by Scriptwelder and published by Armor Games Studios.
