Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation has officially released in Europe. Physical and digital versions are available on PlayStation 4 with a digital version available on Steam.
The Steam version brings with it all the original CGs and in-game art book images. It even includes English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. The PS4 version, meanwhile, comes with two modified CGs with four in-game art book images removed.
This is the third game in the series and offers an after-story that not only ties the previous two games, Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, but closes them as well. In this new game, a new character named Rio appears, who calls Shido “Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.”
Shido has just escaped nearly being trapped in a virtual reality, and is therefore afflicted by a strange feeling. There is a disturbance in the world where he lives. Shido knows someone is out there and cannot shake the helpless, uncomfortable feeling, a stange feeling that persists. There is also a new girl with the same last name as Rinne – Rio Sonogami. Along with Marina, Rio also wander in search of “the most important thing.”

- Two previous entries in the DATE A LIVE series that were only available on the PlayStation 3, Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, will be included in Rio Reincarnation! Re-experience the ending of your date’s route in Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, and experience new date endings and Event CGs in Rio Reincarnation!
The game is based on the popular light novel series from Fujimi Fantasia Bunko, which inspired three anime adaptations, DATE A LIVE, DATE A LIVE II, DATE A LIVE III, and the anime movie Gekijoban DATE A LIVE: Mayuri Judgement.
