Cult of the Dragon Returns to Neverwinter in Echoes of Prophecy

A free battle pass.
A free battle pass. Perfect World

Good news for Neverwinter players! The Jewel of the North is getting a free battle pass with Echoes of Prophecy. This battle pass has players go through an evolving campaign and complete three milestones that see the return of the Cult of the Dragon.

PC and console players can experience the first milestone by October 1. Meanwhile, the second milestone is launching on November 1 with the last one on December 1.

The Cult

By now, it should be obvious that Echoes of Prophecy focuses on the Cult of the Dragon. The story begins with rumors of the cult’s mysterious return spreading from Icewind Dale to Dambrath. Players are tasked with seeking what’s really going on and bringing peace to Faerûn. They won’t be doing it alone since the legendary Sage of Shadowdale Elminster Aumar will join them.

As mentioned, there are three milestones that players need to overcome to complete the Echoes of Prophecy campaign. The first has players investigate the cult and stop whatever it is the cult’s priests are planning. The remaining milestones look into the players learning more about the cult’s return and why it’s affecting the Weave.

In addition to the new story content and challenging enemies, each milestone of the Echoes of Prophecy offers limited-time rewards like new mounts, cosmetic items, and emotes. There are also unique rewards that can be unlocked by finishing each milestone. Those who want to get more rewards can get the premium battle pass.

Jewel of the North

Jewel of the North is the 21st module released on the game and it went live in July 2021. It brought a lot of new content like two new locations in the Adventurer’s Guild and the Training Room. There was also the Adventures which featured a new way to play the game and track progress. The highlight was the introduction of the new Bard Class.

Neverwinter is a free-to-play MMORPG that features fast-paced combat and truly epic dungeons. Players get to explore the city of Neverwinter and the surrounding lands. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
