Activision’s famous battle royale game, Call of Duty: Warzone, received a small patch a couple of days ago. The patch introduced a new mode, Iron Trials ‘84 Trios, for players to enjoy over the weekend. It’s the same mode as last weekend's playlist, except with three players instead of four. Previous balancing changes that were exclusive to Iron Trials ’84 Quads are also made in Trios mode.

That’s not all though, the patch brought QoL changes and bug fixes. A new option called Tactical Spring is added for controller players. They can choose three options, namely, Double Tap, Single Tap from Sprint, and Single Tap from Run. The option is located under the Controller tab, which itself is present in the Options and Accessibility Options Menu.

Tactical Sprint
  • Tactical Sprint allows players to eliminate the need for a double-tap on analog sticks. This option is intended to support Fine Motor Accessibility. This menu option is located within the Controller tab of the Options and Accessibility Options menu.
  • The setting has 3 options:
    • Double Tap: Double tap to Tactical Sprint (default)
    • Single Tap from Sprint: Single tap to Tactical Sprint while sprinting
    • Single Tap from Run: Single tap to Tactical Sprint while running
  • Fixed an issue causing Custom Weapon Modifications to lock Players out of the Armory.
  • Fixed an issue causing incorrect text to appear for the Unlock Criteria text on locked Attachments.
  • Fixed an issue causing players returning from the Gulag to be incorrectly kicked from a live match for “being AFK.”
  • Fixed an issue causing Players to get kicked out of the Look For Party menu when selecting the Start Looking For Party button.
  • Fixed an issue causing Players to occasionally experience a client crash while modifying Loadouts during a live match.

We all know that there is a cheating problem in Call of Duty: Warzone. Many players have left the game due to hackers going unchecked. Well, Activision got a response for that. The giant publisher has announced that a new anti-cheat system, Ricochet, is coming to Warzone. Check out our previous article for more information.
