New update is live. Blizzard

World of Warcraft announced that Visions of N'Zoth is officially live. This new update brings with it a number of features which include. among others, new races, a new raid, and even new weapons.

New Races

The new update introduces two playable races to World of Warcraft. The first is the Vulpera, which is known for their cleverness and resourcefulness in joining the Horde. The Alliance, meanwhile, has added the Mechagnomes, a race the continues to find a way to balance between flesh and steel. You can read more about them here.

New Raid

A new raid arrives with the new update as well. What makes this raid important is that once it's complete, it marks the arrival of the upcoming Shadowlands expansion. The raid offers 12 bosses with four levels of difficulty. It also brings with it new achievements. You can read more about that in our guide here.

Death Knights

Death Knights are also arriving as the update goes live. Here, players can now create Death Knights, especially for the new races. Players will need to pre-purchase Shadowlands and meet the requirements needed to unlock the actual character to use it. Read more about that here.

New Equipment

What else is new? Well, in order to have a chance against N'Zoth, players will need an object of pure corruption. Players can get the legendary cloak Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve. Not only can this help players have a chance against the Old God's power, but its power increases as its rank increases.

There's also corrupted weapons arriving. These items are stained with Corruption after being cursed by none other than N'Zoth. The items offer tremendous power, but the power comes at a price.

You can learn more about the legendary cloak and corrupted gear here.

New Feature

A new feature is Horrific Visions. These are instanced challenges for one to five players. Horrific Visions give players the ability to glimpse at the twisted future N’Zoth has in store not only for Orgrimmar, but also Stormwind. For those who experience a Horrific Vision, their sanity is going to be under constant attack, which increases the instance’s difficulty.

Each time players are subjected to a Horrific Vision, they leave with more knowledge and fragments of N’Zoth’s corruption. They will then need to take these to Wrathion and Mother Silithus in order to strengthen their defenses and earn new tools. These allows them to go even deeper into N’Zoth’s Horrific Visions and earn greater rewards.
