Can you rise to the top in Westeros? Warner Bros

A new adventure awaits everyone when Game of Thrones: Legends releases worldwide on July 25. In celebration of this announced, pre-registration is now officially open on both Google Play and the App Store.

The game is officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of HBO. This game not only incorporates content and characters from Game of Thrones but also the House of the Dragon series. Game of Thrones: Legends has players lead with their very own Westeros house. They'll then need to hone their tactics and skill as they assemble a team of champions and then equip them with weapons and gear. After that they then go out and face those formidable enemies from the Game of Thrones universe.

Here are some key features of the game for fans to look forward to:

  • Complete missions across Westeros in a journey to claim the Iron Throne.
  • Build and upgrade an iconic team that features champions like Jon Snow, Rhaenyra Targaryen, the Hound, Ser Criston Cole, and even Arya Stark, to name a few.
  • Showcase that strategic prowess in epic match-3 puzzle battles.
  • Diversify puzzle battle strategy with champion pairings and conquer different game modes and enemies.
  • Leverage lore to discover champion, weapon, and gear synergies.
    • For example, Jon Snow can be paired with Ghost or make sure that Arya is equipped with Needle.
  • Execute moves, charge special abilities, and utilize powerful combos to obliterate enemies.

Talking about this game, Yaron Leyvand of Zynga shared in a statement that their team was able to create an RPG puzzle experience the features the depth and lore preset in the Game of Thrones universe and combines it with skill-based play. He went on to say that there's a lot to be excited about the game since fans and players get to interact with their favorite Westeros characters.
