There are a lot of things happening across the Call of Duty games this week. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming out with free community content that offers new ways to play the game, while Call of Duty Mobile is offering a new Scorestreak.

Modern Warfare

As mentioned, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is offering new content. There's a new game mode known as Hardpoint. There's also new maps offered for Multiplayer, which are the Shoot House and Grand War. You can read more about that here.

Modern Warfare also released an update that brings some fixes and enhancements. Some of the general changes include:

  • Riot Shield
    • Fix for a bug where the throwing knife and Thermite weren’t causing the Riot Shield to go on the player’s back when thrown.
    • Fixed an issue where the explosive splash damage wasn’t working consistently.
  • Claymores
    • Detonating an enemy Claymore with bullets is now non-lethal when a player has full health. Also reduced the trigger and damage radius of Claymores.
  • Battle Chatter
    • Removed the ability for enemies to hear they’ve been called out by the opposing team.

Mobile

For Call of Duty Mobile, there is a new way for players to earn the Molotov Scorestreak. This event begins November 15 and runs until November 24. However, while waiting, the Weekly Challenge this week is all about the assault rifle. Players who complete the challenge get to earn Credits, 3x weapon EXP 100 cards and Battle Crates. There's also going to be a double weapon XP weekend for multiplayer game modes.

It's not all Modern Warfare and Mobile, as there are also a lot happening in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. An update is coming this month which is going to give players new ways to earn gear. You can read more about that here.

Beginning tomorrow, though, players can now earn weapons and content in Blackjack’s Shop by trading in Reserve Cases through the new Pick-a-Weapon Bribe, Reserve Stack, as well as rotating offers in the Black Market.

Players can obtain Reserve Cases by completing Contracts across all modes and also earn Cases through gameplay in multiplayer and Blackout.
