It can be infuriating to navigate the minefield of spoilers throughout your social media feed and Google search results, but for some fans the more spoilers the better. Following the cliffhanger to The Walking Dead Season 6, fans have been clamoring with anger and anticipation over the ending, as we wait to see who Negan killed in The Walking Dead Season 6 finale.

One site, The Spoiling Dead Fans, has devoted hours upon hours to help those searching for answers for all things TWD and the biggest question fans want answered is the one AMC doesn’t want you to find out.

That’s right, did Negan kill Glenn? Rick? Maggie? Well, The Spoiling Dead was well on its way to sharing that information with those who wanted to know, but the site was hit with a cease and desist from AMC on June 7.

“Well Buttercups, we have some sad news to share today. After two years, AMC finally reached out to us! But it wasn’t a request not to post any info about the Lucille Victim or any type of friendly attempt at compromise, it was a cease and desist and a threat of a lawsuit by AMC Holdings,” The Spoiling Dead wrote on its page Sunday. “They say we can’t make any type of prediction about the Lucille Victim. Their stance is that making such a prediction would be considered copyright infringement.”

The Spoiling Dead Fans co-founder Rachel Campbell told iDigitalTimes the site would have been willing to work out an agreement with AMC prior to the cease and desist, but was given no such chance.

“No. 1, we’re not unreasonable people. Had AMC reached out to us at any given time, we would have been very open to working something out .. other sites have done that [with AMC],” Campbell told iDigi. “But it’s unfortunate it came to that [cease and desist] but it was preventable.”

AMC’s cease and desist letter to The Spoiling Dead, which we have obtained, said releasing crucial plot summaries constitutes copyright infringement.

Citing Twin Peaks Productions vs. Publications International, Attorney Dennis Wilson (on behalf of AMC) said The Spoiling Dead could not release who it thinks Negan killed, otherwise known as the "Lucille victim."

For fans that love spoilers, The Spoiling Dead Fans have been amazingly accurate with their predictions and leaks. Campbell said its most prominent leaks include the death of Beth Greene (the leak came about two months before the show aired), the death of Tyreese and more.

During The Walking Dead filming season, Campbell said anywhere between five to six people send the site photos and verifiable information. Some of that information sent to them this year has been who Negan killed.

Campbell, who thankfully didn’t reveal the victim’s identity, is very confident she and the site know who Negan killed based on who has/has not been on set along with more prominent information. No other information about Lucille’s victim was shared.

Despite AMC’s cease and desist, The Spoiling Dead Fans will continue to share information. One, because the language from AMC was specific to the “Lucille victim,” and two because they still have a passion for The Walking Dead.

“We’re more than just spoilers, we love the show, we’re fans of the show and we continually root for its success,” Campbell said. “People who seek out spoilers, still watch the show. AMC isn’t losing (anything) by having us in the mix.”

This is not the first time AMC has reportedly gone after The Spoiling Dead Fans. Prior to the Season 6 finale, the site said AMC got Facebook to temporarily shut down its page in the lead up to the finale.

“Hi Everyone, The staff at TSDF wanted to let everyone know that the page is locked to them, courtesy of AMC for the next three days,” the page wrote on March 31. “Other than deleting comments and banning people, they cannot interact with you. They cannot reply to page messages or use messenger. Any further spoiler information will be posted on other TSDF media accounts and/or at the forum.”

AMC has not commented publicly about the cease and desist letter to The Spoiling Dead Fans. AMC has also not responded to a request for comment from iDigi. We’ll update the story should AMC respond.

Until then, let’s take a brief investigation into the terrifying Season 6 finale…

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Who Did Negan Kill?

The evidence for whom Negan killed with Lucille at the end of the Season 6 finale is sparse. There have been no certified leaks and interviews have yielded little information. Even with interviews, we shouldn’t read too much into them. Remember how many times Kit Harington said Jon Snow was dead? Don’t expect much to come from the cast until the opening credits begin in the fall.

The quietness of The Walking Dead spoilers doesn’t mean we are completely without good information. The Walking Dead comics, which the show is based on, do have an answer to whose head meets Lucille. SPOILERS AHEAD: In the comics, it is Glenn that is horrifically beaten at the hands of Negan. The show has deviated from the comics with many characters and storylines so this is definitely not a guarantee, but at the top of the “leaderboard” is Glenn and then everyone else.

There are also reports that Glenn actor Steven Yeun has not been on set despite filming being underway for next season. Other characters, including Rick, Carl and Daryl, have been spotted filming which kinda rules them out. According to Cinemablend, Yeun has been out of the country filming a new movie called Okja.

Another character, so maybe No. 2 on the Lucille leaderboard, that has reportedly not been spotted filming is Maggie. Last we saw her she was in the lineup, sick, along with the rest of the group. Could Negan really kill Maggie? Glenn? He killed somebody, and if AMC has its way, we’ll actually have to wait until The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere to find out the answer. Ugh.
