Nintendo Switch players are in for a treat with the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. This is not just the first two iconic games of the series but also their HD remasters. The games feature many of the classic skaters along with new ones.

The game was first released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, in September 2020. Then in March 2021, versions for next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S were launched.

Fans of the original are sure to love trying out old-school tricks on the original levels using the classic pro skaters. Indeed, some of the spots that players can show their skills include Downhill Jam, Warehouse, and the revamped Create-A-Park.

Get to play as one of the OG legends like Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Elissa Steamer. There are also new superstars, such as Aori Nishimura, Leo Baker, and Nyjah Huston. If you’re not up for it, there’s always the option to come up with your own personalized pro with Create-A-Skater.

Players can now perform new tricks with new skaters. Despite being a remaster of the two games, some of the featured tricks are those introduced in later titles including wall plants, spine transfers, reverts, and even enhanced trucks like double flips.

Songs from the original versions are back. This time, three dozen new songs have been added. Features of the game include Tours and a reimagined Career Mode that comes with extra objectives and some surprises. There are single-player modes as well that include Free Skate and Single Session.

For those who want to show off their skills, they can go online and compete with players worldwide through multiplayer.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is available on Nintendo Switch for $39.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition is available, priced at $49.99, which has the base game and these extra goodies:
