Star Trek Online Wants You to Join The Battle for Qo'noS

Prepare for a battle.
Prepare for a battle. Perfect World

Attention Captains! There’s a new event arriving soon, and it will test just how ready you are for a fight. Star Trek Online is launching The Battle for Qo'noS from November 16 to December 7. For now, this is limited on PC. Console players will get it at a later date.

Captains brave enough to take on the challenge get honor and an epic reward with the Console - Universal - Aakar's Vengeance. Since this is the final event of Event Campaign 3, this is the last chance to progress to the free Tier 6 Infinity Promotion or Infinity Lock Box ship.

Like most Featured TFO Events, the first character that claims the reward gets three boxes each containing a choice of a Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade.

Event Progress

As mentioned, players who join the event get daily progress to the Grand Prize. Captains earn one daily progress for each account per day by simply playing any of these TFOs:

  • Remain Klingon
  • To Hell With Honor
  • Best Served Cold

Captains able to get 14 daily progress can claim Aakar’s Vengeance. After that, players can still play the event but it now grants a scaling Dilithium reward, which starts at 8,000 Dilithium Ore and scales by 1,000 Dilithium Ore daily, up to a cap of 50,000 Dilithium Ore per day.

There’s also the choice to buy the remaining progress with Zen. The price of the buyout is pro-rated and based on the amount of progress completed.

Aakar's Vengeance

Aakar was a Klingon special forces operative and member of House Mo'Kai, and known to be a master of electronic warfare. Aakar’s Vengeance launches an electrical burst which flies to the target and immediately deals shield-bypassing electrical damage to it. It also shuts down different non-Shield systems one by one. The electrical damage over time ravages the enemy while their ship fails around them.

Star Trek Online is an MMORPG set in the Star Trek universe and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is the first MMORPG set in the Star Trek universe.
