Pokémon Presents 2025 will bring all the latest in the iconic franchise.

Pokémon Presents 2025 now has an official date for its summer showcase, with The Pokémon Company inviting the global fans and industry to watch the event and witness the latest from the franchise.

There are massive expectations in this showcase to address what the future of the franchise holds, and this starts with "Pokémon Legends: Z-A," its next game slated to release this year.

It is speculated that The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and Nintendo have a lot more in store for the franchise, including possible hints or announcements towards future mainline games.

Pokemon Showcase 2025: How to Watch, Start Times

Pokémon Japan's X account has recently shared an announcement teaser which confirms their upcoming showcase coming next week. The event will feature significant news and updates regarding the franchise, spanning across its different IPs on various platforms like mobile, PC, and consoles, as well as other forms of media from the company.

The company will hold a live stream for Pokémon Presents 2025, and fans will be able to watch the showcase over at the Official Pokémon YouTube channel, available for free across the world. The event will take place on July 22, and it will start at 6 a.m. Pacific Time (9 a.m. ET, 2 p.m. BST).

It is expected that Pokémon Presents 2025 will only run for under half an hour as previous events only averaged around this time.

There was a previous Pokémon Presents 2025 event earlier this year that was held in February which talked about the "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" for the original Nintendo Switch.

What to Expect from Pokémon Presents 2025

In their teaser image shared online, it only showed the iconic Pikachu standing in front of a DJ console table, with the Electric-type mouse's back turned away from the audience, making it seem like it is examining the platform.

Reports speculate that this could be pertaining to a new rhythm game influenced heavily by the Pokémon franchise, hence the DJ table and Pikachu.

On the other hand, "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" will get another showcase in this event, according to speculations, but what will set it apart from the feature in the February deep dive is that this is rumored to offer more insights into the game. Deeper insights include possible gameplay footage, more information about how Lumiose City works, and more details behind the game.

It is also expected that The Pokémon Company will reveal a new "Pokémon Snap" game, as well as a new installment of the famed spin-off game, "Mystery Dungeon," which will be tackled by the team.

While it is no longer expected that a first-party mainline "Pokémon" game is coming this year to the Nintendo Switch 2, reports speculate that The Pokémon Company may take this time to showcase the much-awaited Generation X (10) game.

So far, there is still no confirmation on the Gen 10 Pokémon title, but there are already speculations on what would be featured.
