XSEED Games confirmed that Senran Kagura Peach Ball will release in North America this summer. Developed by Marvelous Inc. for the Nintendo Switch, Senran Kagura Peach Ball was released in Japan last December 2018.
This game is part of the Senran Kagura video game franchise that focuses on a group of female ninjas. If you have no idea of what the game is even after watching the opening movie, don't worry. You are not alone. Believe it or not, but Senran Kagura Peach Ball is a pinball game with some ecchi thrown in for good measure.
The game is set for release as well in Europe and Australia.
The story follows Homura’s Crimson Squad mad scientist Haruka. As usual, she is conducting experiments and coming up with concoctions that have unknown effects. She has taken a local arcade as the site of her laboratory, and used the bathroom as storage for her experiments. Unfortunately, an accident occurs that infects her five shinobi friends: Asuka, Yumi, Yomi, Ryona, and Murasaki. Her latest brew appears to transform those who have been exposed into animals...mentally at least. In order to return her friends to normal, Haruka has to come up with the Peach Ball. When applied repeatedly to the body of the subject and coupled with the right amount of vibrational force, it can undo the effects of the brew. Conveniently it seems, the Peach Ball happens to be the size of a pinball. Haruka needs the player’s assistance in order to operate the table and bop each girl to make them return to their senses.
Senran Kagura Peach Ball will be available digitally in the Nintendo eShop. A limited physical release is available for pre-order at the XSEED Games’ online store and as well as selected retailers. The game is rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB on Nintendo Switch.
