Toei Animation has released a second trailer for the upcoming “Future Trunks” arc in the Dragon Ball Super anime, showing off more footage of what viewers should expect.

The “ Future Trunks” arc is set to begin June 12. We return to Future Trunks’ timeline, where after he defeats the Androids, another more sinister villain emerges named “Black” and it’s up to him to go back to the past to recruit Goku and Vegeta to help him save his timeline.

Check out the second Dragon Ball Super anime trailer for the “Future Trunks” arc below.

In the preview for the first episode, titled “ SOS From the Future! A New Black Enemy Reveals Himself!", we actually see Black’s silhouette and it looks more monstrous than you can imagine.

It’s already been teased by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama (who is also handling character designs and the plotting for the arc) that we will have a “Goku Black,” which could mean that this enemy can take over bodies or copy them. Akira also teased that the arc will involve both the Gods of Destruction and the Supreme Kai.

The “Future Trunks” Arc takes place after the conclusion of the “Gods of Destruction Champa” arc, where Goku and the Z fighters took part in a inter-dimensional tournament.

So what do you think of the extended preview for the upcoming “Future Trunks” arc? What do you hope happens? Sound off in the comments section below.
