The official Dragon Ball Super Twitter account teased the start of the upcoming Future Trunks Arc featuring a brand new villain… Goku Black.

In the tweet, a new visual for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super arc shows off Future Trunks and the aforementioned Goku Black in all his nefarious glory. Take a look.

The upcoming new arc will debut on June 12, and the first episode will be titled "SOS From the Future! A New Black Enemy Reveals Himself!"

The plot will start in the future when Earth is free from the Androids' domination. A man named "Black" suddenly appears, and Future Trunks tries to defend himself. Even in Super Saiyan form, Trunks is no match for this new enemy.

Bulma tries to make another time machine and ask for past Goku and Vegeta’s help, but after half a year, she only accumulates enough fuel for the time machine to make a one-way trip. Then, Black appears again before Bulma and Trunks.

The Future Trunks Arc takes place after the conclusion of the “Gods of Destruction Champa” arc where Goku and the Z fighters took part in a inter-dimensional tournament.

So what do you think of the upcoming arc in Dragon Ball Super and of the new villain who looks suspiciously like Goku? Sound off in the comments section below.
