Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Village has sold more than 8 million copies. The game is now playable on all major platforms including Nintendo Switch.
Previously, the developer confirmed that the remake would release on March 24 for next-gen consoles and PC. Now, you can add one more platform to the list.
The working title of the game is Resident Evil Apocalypse, and it takes place in a ghost town in the West. It will feature caves, rivers, small towns, and camping sites.
Joining the fray for this fast-paced extra game mode are some of the game’s most popular characters, including the viral sensation vampire mommy Lady Dimitrescu. She builds up her Thrill meter by slashing her enemies to shreds with her sharp talons.
Although this is good news for fans, Lollipop Chainsaw Remake will not be 100% faithful. The 15 songs used in the original game can’t be implemented in the remake due to licensing issues.
This is by far the best State of Play in a long time. We saw several AAA titles, some indie games, and an announcement of a PC port of a fan-favorite game.
A total of 31 partners have been revealed and more will be later on. While Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox are joining, Nintendo is going to sit this one out.
