A new quest is now live in RuneScape. Titled “Twilight of the Gods,” it bridges the story between the Elder God Wars and Zamorak Boss Battle, coming out later this summer. Those able to finish the quest get special protection when going against Zamorak, the Lord of Chaos.

This lore-rich quest has players explore different key locations and solve various puzzles to find a cure for the demon illness. The journey is difficult but there are critical aids that can help in the fight, including:

  • 10% damage reduction for the Elite Dungeon and Zamorak fight.
  • 5 Zamorak re-roll tokens.
  • The ability to gain re-roll tokens from Elder God Wars Dungeon bosses.

Remember, this is the final step before fighting Zamorak. Without the gift of the gods, there’s a good chance that even the most skilled of adventurers will die.

Starting the Quest

It’s important to note that the Twilight of the Gods is a members-only quest. However, it also comes with other requirements:

  • Required skill levels
    • 80 Divination
    • 60 Thieving
  • Required quests
    • Extinction
    • Broken Home
  • Additional requirements
    • Eyes in their Stars Archaeology mystery.
    • Players must have met Naressa in Senntisten.

Rewards

Now, the reason players take on quests is to get their hands on rewards. In Twilight of the Gods, the rewards are:

  • Cosmetic Cultist Robes outfit
  • Abyssal Demon Transmogrification Ring
  • 30,000 Magic XP Lamp
  • 30,000 Divination XP Lamp
  • 3 Quest Points

That’s not all since there are also bonuses that can help players fight Zamorak, such as:

  • 5 loot reroll tokens.
  • The ability to gain loot reroll tokens as drops from EGWD bosses.
  • 10% damage reduction in the Elite dungeon and fight with Zamorak.
