Monstercat is turning 10 tomorrow and that’s a decade of music. There’s a lot to celebrate and Rocket League is joining in the fun. Beginning July 5, there are goodies available at the Item Shop. Free for all players are the Player Anthem and Monstercat 10 YR Player Banner.

If you’re wondering what Monstercat is, it’s an independent record label based in Canada. Among many others, the studio is known to release soundtrack albums for many video games like Rocket League, Fortnite, and Beat Saber.

It’s safe to say that Rocket League sounded good because of Monstercat. In fact, every year, the game gets new songs, many of which are loved by the community.

As part of the celebration, players can buy the Monstercat 10 YR Fan Pack for 1,000 Credits. The Fan Pack contains:

  • Player Anthems

In a statement, Mike Ault of Psyonix shared that Monstercat has long been part of Rocket League ’s identity. For its 10th year, Ault added that they are more than happy to be part of the celebration.

Gavin Johnson at Monstercat revealed that Psyonix has been an important partner, and Rocket League has been a platform for many artists to grow. He went on to say that they are happy to celebrate this latest milestone and bring the studio’s greatest hits to the shared communities.

The best way to describe Rocket League is like a soccer game that uses rocket-powered vehicles. The game was first released in 2015 and then became free-to-play by September 2020. Rocket League has a professional esports scene through ESL and Major League Gaming. There is also the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), which is organized by Psyonix.
