Returnal Steam/Sony

Returnal, the sci-fi third-person shooter from Housemarque, is set to release for PC on February 15. The game has already been available on PlayStation 5 since April 2021 and has received widespread critical acclaim. Now, PC gamers will finally get the chance to experience this unique and challenging adventure.

We can’t comment on the quality of the PC port yet, however, you can expect a lot of great features. The game supports ultra-wide 21:9 and super ultra-wide 32:9 displays and 3D audio, along with various upscaling technologies. Players will be able to choose between Nvidia DLSS and NIS and AMD FSR. More information about the port is mentioned here. The developer has revealed detailed system requirements as well.

About the Game

Returnal is set on the mysterious and ever-changing planet of Atropos, where the player takes on the role of Selene, an astronaut who is stuck in a time loop. With each death, Selene is reincarnated and the planet's environment, enemies, and secrets change. The player must use their skills, weapons, and abilities to uncover the truth about the planet and escape the time loop.

The game combines fast-paced, action-packed gameplay with a rich and atmospheric world, filled with mystery and lore. The procedurally-generated environment of Atropos creates an unpredictable and challenging experience for players, as they never know what to expect with each run. The combat system is intuitive and intense, with a variety of weapons, upgradeable skills, and adaptive abilities that allow players to adapt to the challenges of the planet.

Another Sony Game on PC

Returnal isn’t the only PS5 game PC players will be enjoying soon. The Last of Us Part 1, a remake of the 2013 title, is also launching on PC, March 28. The game was initially planned for a March 3 release but was delayed by a few weeks. Sony has yet to reveal which other PS games we should expect in the future. However, Demon's Souls and Ghost of Tsushima seem like good guesses.
