Online multiplayer game "Peak" has a new biome that players can explore thanks to the latest update.
Called Mesa, this new biome is described as a "sandy terrain under the blistering sun" by the game's developers.
However, there is a catch when it comes to the availability of Mesa in the game.
'Peak' Adds New Biome
According to the patch notes released be developer Team PEAK, Mesa will replace another biome, Alpine, for one whole week after its official launch.
After the one week is up, both biomes will rotate at random.
To get a better idea of what Mesa is all about, you can watch the official update trailer below.
'Bug Phobia Mode' Added
In addition to the new biome, "Peak" now also has what is being called the "Bug Phobia Mode."
This option has been made available for players who don't want to see arachnids and other creepy crawlies. This means that any player can remove any bugs and insects during their runs.
Aside from this, the developers have likewise added the capability to navigate the Settings menu via the controller.
