Red Dead Redemption 2 is now officially available for the PC. This is the first game from the Red Dead Redemption series to be featured on the PC. The good thing about releasing the game for the PC is that it offers a range of graphical and technical enhancements for Red Dead 2 and bring new life and detail to the story.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC offers new content for Story mode, along with new bounty hunting missions, gang hideouts, and weapons, among others. There is also a fully-featured photo mode for players to capture and share their favorite moments from the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC also comes with free access to the shared living world of Red Dead Online, which features all previously released improvements and the latest content updates for the complete online experience. PC players can access Frontier Pursuits and the specialist Roles of Bounty Hunter, Trader, and Collector to progress through and earn unique rewards.

According to a press statement, initial reviews of the PC version of Red Dead 2 so far has been positive. IGN cited how the "world simply looks more natural" with GameSpot saying that it looks "like Rockstar is showing off - it looks breathtaking…It's hard not to talk about it without sounding hyperbolic, but it's one of the best looking things I've seen in recent memory."

Meanwhile, GamesRadar said that it's turning out to be "One of the best looking games [I've] ever seen on a monitor."

Red Dead Redemption 2 can be purchased through the Rockstar Games Launcher and at the Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop, and additional digital retailers. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC is also going to be available to purchase on Steam this December.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was originally released on October 26, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to critical and commercial success, with approximately 25 million copies sold-in worldwide. It remains to be the highest rated game of the current console generation.

With more than $725 million in worldwide retail sell-through during its first three days, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the second-highest grossing entertainment launch of all time next to Grand Theft Auto V, which achieved over $1 billion in retail sell-through in three days.
