Jäger is getting a makeover in the Y5S1.2 patch notes Ubisoft

Ubisoft just implemented some major changes in Rainbow Six Siege with the Y5S1.2 update. Most of these changes are meta-changing, including modifications to one of the most played operators, Jäger. Even important operators such as Buck lost Frag Grenades and nerfing GOYO by reducing the number of Volcán shields. The changes will affect Challenger League the most which is ongoing, and will completely revamp the meta mid-season.

Jäger used to be one of the best roaming operators, but he got nerfed multiple times. Ubisoft changed his gun damage, removed his ACOG and now reduced his mobility to two speed. Ubisoft also fixed some game-breaking issues such as the Barricade glitch, where the barricade is open for one person only.
