Team Liquid vs. DAMWON Gaming

Map 1

Liquid was unable to counter DWG’s setup, so the latter got four rounds in the first half, resulting in a 4-2 scoreline. After the side switch, Liquid was able to punish DWG for every mistake. Liquid would just hold a certain part of the map and win gunfights. Liquid managed to get the game till overtime. After doing so, Liquid swiftly finished the game by winning two rounds. Liquid won the first map with an 8-6 scoreline.

Map 2

The second match was played on Chalet, which is an attacker-sided map. Liquid has played this map multiple times against really good teams, which gave them better odds at winning even against DWG. Liquid started out on attack and demolished DWG. Liquid flawlessly won six rounds in a row, which was expected due to better experience. After the side switch, DWG managed to get one round. But Liquid finished the match by winning the final round. Liquid won the final map with a 7-1 scoreline.
