A new Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom gameplay video is out this week, featuring more than ten minutes of footage featuring Roland, the 48-year-old president from another dimension (yes, really) we’ll occasionally control in the sequel to Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. And it looks those parts of the campaign will be a bit different than the chapters following King Evan.

Those sensitive to spoilers might want to pass on the Ni no Kuni 2 footage. The scenes featured in the video take place pretty early in the story, and show Roland helping King Evan make his escape during the coup that leaves him without a kingdom, but plenty of fans don’t like seeing any major story beats before a project is out. Those interested in the new footage can look forward to seeing a handful of low-level weapons and character skills, along with some of the earliest enemies encountered in Revenant Kingdom. We still don’t have any specifics on how Roland wound up in the land of Ni no Kuni, though.

The new footage also offers brief looks at the game’s map screen, loot system and a handful of UI elements. Fans see Roland rounding up the various items and crafting materials dropped by slain enemies and navigating an underground sewer system. Level-5 is still playing coy about some mechanics, leaving question marks in place of some menu titles, but the Roland footage does include a brief look at equipment management. There’s even a few minutes of combat between the shockingly well-aged president against one of Ni no Kuni 2’s first bosses.

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom heads to PS4 and PC on March 23.
