All matchmaking games are now ranked in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord due to the game’s latest update. The massive Beta Patch e1.7.2 also brings a ton of new additions and improvements.

There’s a new ranking system in all matchmaking games. The ranks are as follows:

  • Bronze 1, Bronze 2, Bronze 3
  • Silver 1, Silver 2, Silver 3
  • Gold 1, Gold 2, Gold 3
  • Sergeant
  • Captain
  • General
  • Conqueror

You will go through 10 evaluation matches at first so that the system can assign you a particular rank. The number of points you gain or lose depends on the average ratings of your group and the enemy team. If you win the match, for example, you gain more points if your team has a lower average rating than the opposing team.

Aside from that, you are now able to reconnect to the match safely in the event of a sudden disconnection. It is important to note that leaving a ranked game on purpose will bar you from queuing up for matchmaking games for a while. You’ll also end up losing some ranking points even if your team wins.

Patch Highlights

  • Added 5 new Cape pieces: Decorated Leather Harness, Caped Leather Harness, Decorated Leather Harness with Padding, Decorated Leather Harness over Scale, and Decorated Leather Harness over Mail

    • Low Level: Low-level troops will spawn first
    • Homogeneous: High and low-level troops will spawn in equal ratios
