League of Legends: Wild Rift Massive Champion Changes Implemented in "Power Spike" Update

Patch 3.4 for League of Legends: Wild Rift, also known as the Power Spike Update, is now live. Partly why this update is called such is due to the massive changes made to many champions in the game.

Yuumi got some pretty significant changes in Patch 3.4. According to Riot Games, the lovable cat is frustrating to go up against, but she’s not too powerful enough to win games either. For these reasons, tweaks were made to improve her, though not so much that she becomes overpowering to deal with.

First, the mana restoration from her passive is removed, so she doesn’t have to rely on it when healing her allies. Moreover, Zoomies has a new effect where healing now repeats for the next three attacks or abilities cast within five seconds. The mana cost of the said ability has been adjusted as well.

Sion has been quite effective in the jungle lately. This prompted Riot to cut down some of that by reducing the potency of his abilities. For instance, the movement speed bonus granted by his Unstoppable Onslaught is capped at 800. Besides that, Decimating Smash has its monster damage modifier reduced to 120%.

Some champions have also been buffed in Wild Rift’s latest update. Samira struggled since her release, which is why some of her stats and abilities got buffed. The attack damage ratio of Flair is increased to 75%/90%/105%/120%, for example.

  • Base HP increased to 600
  • Twilight Shroud
    • Energy gain increased to 100
    • Max energy gain increased to 100
  • Mana recovery increased to 12
  • Thundering Blow/Acceleration Gate
    • Cooldown reduced to 14 seconds
  • Deadly Flourish
    • Cast time reduced to 9 frames
    • Root duration reduced to 1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds
  • Divine Ascent
    • Passive hit damage reduced to 12/15/18/21 + 15% Ability Power
  • Celestial Blessing
    • Heal increased to 70/110/150/190
  • Starfire Spellblade
    • Passive hit damage reduced to 12/15/18/21 + 15% Ability Power
  • Divine Judgment
    • Cooldown increased to 100/90/80 seconds
  • Haymaker
    • Active attack damage ratio increased to 20% Bonus Attack Damage
  • Rapid Fire
    • Cooldown increased to 18/17/16/15 seconds
  • Explosive Charge
    • Controls: Tap casting will now prioritize turrets over minions.
    • Controls: Tristana will now prioritise targets with her bomb.
  • Attack damage per level increased to 3.6
