The 12.11 Update for League of Legends is out, and it nerfs several champions that have been dominating the rift.

Here, we will cover the nerfs for Lilia, Master Yi, and Veigar.

Lillia

Lillia’s abilities can deal a percentage of the target's max health damage, thanks to her passive. Combine that with the Durability update, she can deal significant damage to tanky enemies. To balance things out, the developers nerfed her health and passive.

Lillia’s base health is reduced from 650 to 625, a little squishy at the start of the game. Her passive Dream-Laden Bough is slightly lowered in terms of AP ratio:

  • Before Patch 12.11:
    • 6% (+1.5% per 100 AP) target maximum health
  • After Patch 12.11:
    • 6% (+1.2% per 100 AP) target maximum health

This should stave off some damage when Lillia's AP bulks up.

Master Yi

Master Yi has always been a favorite because of his easy-to-play kit. The Durability patch made it even better for Master Yi players as he got tankier, giving him that extra time to deal true damage. So, the developers nerfed his HP growth rate and Wuju Style (E) ability in this update.

Master Yi’s health growth has decreased from 106 to 100 per level, making his maximum health at level 18 at 2,369, without any items, which was previously 2,471. The Wuju Style (E) now grants less bonus true damage on-hit, which should make it harder for him to melt through enemies:

  • From: 30/38/46/54/62 (+35% bonus AD)
  • To: 30/35/40/45/50 (+35% bonus AD)

Veigar

Veigar benefited quite a lot from the Durability update. His tankier stats allowed him to lane safely and scale for the late game. To make him befitting as the Tiny Master of Evil, the developers nerfed his base stats and Event Horizon (E) ability in this update.

His base armor has dropped from 23 to 21, so he is now squishy in the early game. But the armor growth per level is up from 3.75 to 4.0. These changes are a warning to shut him down early before he becomes a big problem.

The Event Horizon (E) ability has longer cooldowns to limit that spamming even after buying Ability Haste items:

  • From: 18/16.5/15/13.5/12 seconds
  • To: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds

This update also nerfs Brand, Gwen, Wukong, and other champions that should make their gameplay more balanced. You can read more about them here.
