The Moonshade Epic is arriving in Honkai Impact 3rd courtesy of Update v6.1 this Thursday, October 27. As part of this update, the swordswoman from Shenzhou, Li Sushang is joining the roster. There's also the Midnight Chronicle event where Captains not only learn more about the chivalrous deeds of Li Sushang but also her obsession with Tales of Xia: Phantasia.
Meet the Jade Knight
Who exactly is Li Sushang? Also known as the Jade Knight, she has been in hibernation for centuries and recently woke up in the current world. In the past, she was once the star pupil of the Wanderer's House who headed out on a solo journey to take on trials. However, she got caught in different conflicts and was severely injured.
Otto used Schicksal tech to cryogenically freeze her, and didn't wake her up until in Kolosten. As Li Sushang continues her journey in the current world, everything for her seems so fresh and filled with wonder. Her bold and carefree nature has allowed her to quickly adapt to the new environment. In fact, she has even become a fan of video games, with skills just as superb as her martial arts.
Li Sushang is an S-rank PSY-type dealing Ice DMG who wields a blade for melee attacks while also releasing flying swords for ranged attacks. When on the battlefield, she can stand firmly on her sword while using her agility to blink throughout the Sword Array. She can also summon flying swords to strike enemies and trap them in the array. Her ultimate is known as Blade Eminence, which summons a colossal sword from above to dominate the field with crushing momentum.
During her skill cast, all skill and stage timers are paused. In addition, Ice DMG dealers on the team get additional buffs with enemies receiving devastating damage.
New Events
The upcoming update also introduces a two-part event known as Midnight Chronicle, and the Tales of Xia: Phantasia co-op event where maps randomly reset daily with specific objectives for each map.
Honkai Impact 3rd is set in a modern world corrupted by mysterious energy known as Honkai. Leading humanity in a war of survival is the Valkyries, brave girls carrying anti-Honkai genes. Honkai Impact 3rd is available on PC, Android, and iOS.
