'Hearthstone' Boss Battle Royale Tavern Brawl Guide: Which Classes Have The Best Bosses?

For the third week in a row, Hearthstone has a fun and unique Tavern Brawl. “Boss Battle Royale” has you pick a class and then get a corresponding boss to play as. You get a brand new hero power straight from one of Hearthstones many adventures and the decks you use are premade. Experimenting with the different bosses is really fun; you get to use cards and hero powers that have never been playable before.

Remember, it might seem like you are fighting against AI, but you are actually squaring off against real people. I didn’t realize my White Knight mirror match was against a real person until he started emoting.

Here’s a breakdown of all the classes and the bosses that go along with them, along with the new hero powers. If you want to see what cards are in your deck (which you really shouldn’t since it ruins half of the surprise) I’ve linked all the decklists via Gamepedia. These bosses use the normal deck, not the Heroic version.

Warrior -- The Grim Guzzler - - Pile On! (2 mana) Put a minion from each deck into the battlefield.

Shaman -- Lady Naz’jar - - Pearl Of The Tides (Passive) At the end of your turn, replace all minions with new ones that cost one more.

Rogue -- Grobbulus - - Poison Cloud (2 mana) Deal one damage to all minions. If any die, summon a 2/2 Slime.

Paladin -- White King - - Castle (2 mana) Discover a chess piece

Hunter -- Skelesaurus Hex - - Ancient Power (0 mana) Give each player a random card that costs zero.

Druid -- Razorgore the Untamed - - The Rookery (1 mana) Give all Corrupted Eggs +1 health, then summon one.

Warlock - Noth the Plaguebringer - - Raise Dead (Passive) Whenever an enemy minion dies, summon a 1/1 skeleton.

Mage - The Curator -- Gallery Protection (Passive) Your hero has Taunt.

Priest - Gothik the Harvester -- Harvest (2 mana) Draw a card.

My personal choice for best deck has to be Grobbulus. Very few of these bosses can match the sheer power of his deck or hero power. Warlock just straight up loses, the skeleton summoned from Gothink’s hero power die to Poison Cloud, while filling the puss bag’s board with 2/2 Slimes. If you want to get your pack as quickly as possible, play Rogue and win with relative ease.
